Around 1,250 visiting yachts call in annually—roughly 20% over 18 meters long—bringing more than 5,000 crew members from various countries, predominantly English and French speakers. About 120 local boats and maritime tourism vessels also use the facilities.
Horta Marina has held the European Blue Flag since 1987.
