Ventspils Beach, Latvia has held the Blue Flag award since 1998.0, reflecting a long-term commitment to the programme's 33 annual criteria — covering bathing water quality, environmental management, safety and services, and environmental education. The beach is managed by Ventspils.

You can reach it also by bicycle using the cycling path, and it is possible to place your vehicle in the special bicycle racks placed in the territory of the beach.
